Visit from the Chicagoians

Grammie, Pop and Auntie all drove out for a visit to see Max and Allie. Yes...to see Max and Allie. It was a short trip, but we managed to pack a lot in, mostly centered around baseball. Grammie brought Max a tee to play. He is so good at putting the ball on the tee and Pop taught him how to run the bases. It was funny that he would skip third if someone was coming at him to tag him out with the ball. He got a HOME RUN every time!

Max, clearly, was getting hotter and hotter as the game went on...

The boys even got in an Ironbirds game Friday evening, complete with fireworks!

Allie got in a photo session with Grammie. The bunny is from Grammie and Pop, just like big brothers (only A LOT bigger and a lot more pink ).

Allie's Extra Stay

Well, it turns out Allie was a bit jaundice causing us an extra stay at the hospital. Mommy was released from the hospital on Sunday and we were moved to pediatrics where Allie got to stay in a nice warm bed. As much as we hated seeing here in this little bed. She really did look cute and cozy in there with her sleeping mask on (Uncle Cashew's got nothin' on her!) and the blue lights. Also, she got a really nice tan in there, definitely enough to make her momma jealous.

After two extra nights we finally got to come home.

Even after we got to go home, we had to have you on a biliblanket, it made you look like a little glow worm. After going to the hospital every day for the rest of the week, you finally got rid of all the bad stuff and pulled out of the jaundice. We were so relieved when we didn't have to watch you get your heel pricked every day!

Farm Fair 2010

While Mommy and Daddy were at the hospital, Grammie and Pop took you to the farm fair. You had such a great time this year. Last year was a bit of a different story (check it out here: http://diegelduo.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html). You even asked to get in and ride the goats. I couldn't believe it. I only wish I could have seen it for myself. There's always next year.

As always, the tractors are your favorite. You love to climb all over the BIG tractors and...

be sure to cover yor ears watching the tractor pulls!
